Key steps to selling a property or home

Once you have decided in your mind you want to sell your home, you’ve already taken the biggest step in the selling process, go you! If you have never sold a property before, it’s important to know how the selling process is going to work as there are a number of VIP decisions you’re going to need to make.

1. Do your research and be prepared

Once you’ve made the decision that you want to sell your house, it’s worth asking yourself when you want to sell and the kind of agent you want to work with who will have your best interests at heart.

2. Choose the right agent to have your property appraised

If you’ve gotten this far, it’s time to meet your future agent. Think of us as the information hub. Ask us anything. Request market updates, trends, a price guide and results to help you make an informed decision. It’s a big decision to make!

3. Pick the optimal sales method

At this phase, we can recommend what we believe is the most effective sales method for you to go down. There are plenty of layers to think about. What are you are most comfortable with? An auction is currently the most optimal method of sale given the state of the market but everyone is different!

4. Time to set a selling price

Our goal here is to SELL your property so you can get one step closer to your dream life. Depending on how the property is sold, you’ll either enter a cooling off period or head into an auction. Once the buyer completes the payment of the contract price to the vendor, we can finally celebrate!
